Summary:
This document describes the use of the post code selection map.
OSCAR features the ability to select postal zones using a clickable map. The map works at 2 levels, postal area and postal district.
In order to load the map, click the Postal Map option on the left-hand-side menu.
To select a postal area, click the required area. Clicking once will turn it green to include it within your selection, clicking a second time will turn it red to exclude. A third click will remove it entirely from your selection.
Once a selection has been made, select another attribute on the left-hand-side menu to run the count
You may move the map around and zoom in or out using the control button in the top left of the map.
You may change the selection level to postal district by clicking the option button at the top of the screen.
When changing the level to postal district, any postal areas previously selected will be coloured appropriately, either green or red. You may exclude postal districts from a postal area selection by clicking to turn them red.
If you then move back up to postal area view, any postal areas that have a postal district exclude will appear orange indicating partial selection.
